In our best effort to remain transparent and keep our parents and community informed, we would like to give you some information on a recent incident. District administration was notified of an incident in which a student was overheard saying a gun was going to be brought to school. Administrators immediately investigated the incident and notified the Lexington Police Department. The threat was found to NOT be credible and student safety was never compromised. As always student safety is our number one priority and after the investigation the student was disciplined for the remark. With the recent school related incidents we take all precautions necessary to ensure the safety of our students and staff. We take all comments seriously and will take immediate action. There was no evidence to support a credible threat and all of our students and staff remain safe.

Helping Kids Soar to Success
