LISD Board Names Superintendent Lone Finalist

The LISD Board of Trustees Names Dr. Cliff Lightfoot as the Lone Finalist for Superintendent of Lexington ISD
 
Dr. Lightfoot comes to Lexington from Gladewater ISD, where he has served as Assistant Superintendent since 2017. He also served in several administrative roles with Pine Tree ISD in Longview for 13 years before his time at Gladewater. Prior to that, Dr. Lightfoot was a teacher and coach at several Central Texas school districts including Mexia, College Station, and Cameron ISDs. 
 
Dr. Lightfoot's wife, Mary, teaches 8th grade math. They have 2 grown children:  son Dillon and wife Bethanne, and daughter Callie. Dillon attends law school at Penn State, Bethanne is student teaching this fall, and Callie is a senior at Texas A&M.
